Footballscoop.com is listing that Kramer has already been hired at Idaho. Don't know how good that site is, but on vandalvenue they were saying they were right on top of the Idaho hiring last year with Erickson.

This sure isn't good. Well, good for Kramer, but not good for MSU. Best of luck to him and his family if this is true.

Please, let them be wrong.
But if they are right, we need to get moving on this, um... yesterday.

As much of a bummer as it will be to lose Kramer I don't think this is all bad for MSU. Kramer has built a solid foundation for another coach to take us over the hump. The next guy may not be as committed to QBC and the marketing that Kramer does, but with Learfield sports taking over marketing maybe the coach won't have to build excitement for his own program. That leaves the coach time to take this team to the next level.
If Kramer leaves we should thank him for turning MSU Football around and get excited about what is to come in the near future. The only way for MSU to go is to keep moving on up and competing at a higher level.

Agreed 100%. The faster MSU has a head coach out there recruiting, the better off we will be. We can't afford to let this drag out ... and we need to make a good decision (assuming that this rumor is, in fact, true).
If something official is announced today, it could be a backhanded blessing. The quicker firm decisions are made, the faster MSU can make their decisions that need to be made.

Okay ... maybe this is too soon to say something like this ... but perhaps a very small silver lining if this is true ... no more roll punt?

No, I am pretty sure I won the TV - at least that's what they told me

Sorry, popup blockers are your friend. I never see any of those types of things.

I think you are right BAC. We need to move on this quick while recruiting is still good. It shouldn't be to hard to find a good Head Coach. MSU has everything going for it right now. We all knew Kramer would eventually leave so good luck to him. Van Diest had better be given the opportunity to accept or decline this position. He should know what Kramer has left him and I heard in a Sept. post that the two are friends and he was contacted last year when Kramer almost went to Idaho. What ever it is it needs to be done ASAP. I like the fact that we are not competing with UM in the coaching carosel at this time so get it done.

Do you think we could trade Field's for Van Diest and Bruce Parker?
Sorry trying to lighten the mood, it just sucks.

It's probably not great news for the football program that Kramer is leaving, but I must say I'm happy that a MSU coach is finally leaving the school under "good" circumstances!

Uhh, KRamer hasn't been contacted today by the University of Idaho. He has not been offered the job that he is aware of. Unless that Idaho license plate in front of the field house is their discreet way of notifying him.
HOORAY for MSU!!!
