So Chappy State hasn't lost at home in four years. Streaks are meant to be broken. How many years in a row did the Griz spank you? We all know about that little record. You guys broke that streak.

AND YOUR JUST THE RIGHT DAMNED TEAM TO BE A PAIN IN SOMEONE ELSES ASS AND ****** UP THEIR STREAK AS WELL!!!

Do us all a favor in these playoffs and piss in someone elses cheerios this Saturday. Upset #1! Go Cats!

*************************************************************
Go GRIZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is really scary how much I am starting to like griz fans. Are the end times near?

I've noticed that the rivalry has been a lot friendlier this year than in past years. I think maybe the Cats winning a few has helped in that regard...there's more respect now on the UM side, and less bitterness on the MSU side.

This past saturday was the first time I've ever heard universal cheers at Wa Griz when they announced a Cats score and the Cats were winning. When I went to school there, the reactions were usually mixed; a few boos, some general snickering, and maybe a few cheers, but this Saturday, the whole stadium cheered when they announced the Cats' scores.

I guess everybody wants a good rivalry. Not one that is dominated by either side. (Although if the Cats did the dominating I may have a different attitude).

Sure; everybody loves winning. Hell, I enjoyed our sixteen-year run, and I'd love to have another one. But I think the rivalry is a lot healthier now than it was back then. Towards the end of our streak, I always had friends who were Cat fans, but I could not talk about BSC football with them without getting into a serious, nasty argument. If I talked smack about the Griz beating the Cats, or about us winning titles, or whatever, then the bitterness always came out. I know, Griz fans probably earned it by gloating too much, or whatever...but the bottom line is, it seems different now, and I like it. It's more fun.

I've definitely noticed more affection for the Cats from Griz fans. I chalk it up to (most) Griz fans being secure with our team and our status as Griz fans. You Cat fans are even starting to get into the act. Meet us halfway folks - there's enough room in this state for all of us. Kramer said it best when he said that he wanted the Cats to become a premier national team but not at the expense of the Griz (or something to that effect). He's right. We can both be great teams and everyone is happy (as long as the Griz beat the Cats :D ). Good luck against Appy!!! (and cheer for your neighbors to the west while you're at it)

Yep, good luck this weekend to the cats. I know I will be rooting very hard for you guys. It is going to be a real tough game, I'm watching appy vs. ccu right now, and appy is the real deal. But the cats are for real too.

There would be only one thing cooler than a UM vs. MSU NC game, and that is a UM/MSU NC game where the Griz win that game with last second heroics.

Ok, ok, I'm cynical by nature, SO....

How many of you griz fans TRULY want the Cats to succeed & beat Appy vs how many of you just don't want to face Appy in the title game should you win 2 more & get to Nooga?

It's a legit question; I realize some of you are sincere but I've known FAR too many griz fans to just accept that you all really want the Cats to do well.

Sorry for peeing on the "warm, fuzzy" party going on here, but something smells fishy & it ain't my tuna sandwich!

Personally, I DO want the Cats & Griz to meet up in the title game; if our OC actually studies some game film this time around (and we get Mason healthy), I think the end result will be different than it was a couple weeks ago.

Besides, 2 teams from Montana meeting for the title WOULD make a great story and get both our teams some more well-deserved attention.

Maybe we should just let the UM O-Coordinator and Bailey duke it out on the field. Like a boxing match, but with chalk.

Somehow I still think it would be a defensive game.

Yeah, but who would get (or want) the winner?

I'm pulling for the Cats for more than one reason. I like the exposure Montana gets when both teams are rolling. And I couldn't imagine the excitement of a Griz-Cat NC. This may be one of our only opportunities at that and I hope it shakes out that way.

But yes EG, Appy is a scary football team and I could only imagine that we'd feel a little more comfortable playing you than them. But that's the least-important reason for me to pull for the Cats.

Come on now, Bailey didn't throw any errant passes nor did he drop any balls that he should have caught did he?

No, but his QB was ROUTINELY throwing into double coverage and his runs were generally to the outside, an area that a better running team than us (Cal Poly) had NO success at (less than half their season average).

Don't get me started...

because Griz fans know they can't beat AppSt so someone else better if they have a shot at the NC.

So Grizzly fans know that we can't beat App St on a neutral field, yet the Cat fans believe Bobcats can somehow win in Boone? Riiight...Cat fans should be more confident than Griz fans.....because of the results on Nov. 18th....

Appy St. is not invincible...by Griz or by Cats. I would rather play the Cats in the chipper, just because it would be better for the Big Sky and the state of Montana. But I would still love to see the Griz line up against the Mountaineers, too. Just can't have both.

Do you really think that the kid is taught to throw into double coverage? On the int he threw on 3rd and short, he threw it to the inside which let the safety come over and help. Bad throw! If the puts it outside where it belongs, the safety can't get there! Possible td. All the balls that bounce in front of receivers and the drops, is Bailey responsible for that? Is he reponsible for the guys that were missed when they were wide open. Kramer has publicly stated that Jefferson has been open and Rolo has thrown elsewhere. They have worked with him to correct that. As for the running plays, many were zone plays and the RB chooses his lane. Maybe that's why some of the runs were bounced outside. The coaches do everything they can to get the kids ready. In the end it is up to them to execute. If Wheaton grabs the ball at the end of the game, is Bailey still a dumbass?
