Gold Rush revisited

All the gold at the game Saturday was cool. Granted it wasn't a see of gold but it was very noticable and a great way to help unify the fan base. My wife had a great idea that we could use if we host a semi-final game or in the championship game. She suggested we get some gold homer-hankies like the Twins had going during their world series years. The latest reincarnation of this is the terrible towels that the Steelers fans have.

Thoughts.

That's exactly what I said to my brother - regarding the homer hankies.

It would seem pretty simple and inexpensive to go buy some fabric and just cut it into hankie-size pieces.

I think it's a pretty good idea and I know I'll have the homer hankies if we're able to secure another game in Bozeman.

I agree also. Especially since there seems to be little gold out there. Maybe next year stores will stock up on both blue and gold for the Cats.

by remember the SCOOP!
On the radio feed of the game, the announcers went into detail about the "gold rush." It sounded like it was a success.

Go Cats!

I Like The Bobcat Blankies idea, gold towels to EVERYONE! The Gold Rush thought was a good one, but difficult to do this past weekend unless you have a yellow ski jacket!

They have these yellow jackets at the book store that are pretty sweet. At $50, they're kind of pricey but if you think about the cost being spread over numerous home games, it seems like a decent investment.

  • Since we didn't have goldwear I made 50 towels for last weekend game and handed them out at our tailgate party and the great falls boosters tailgate. We had fun with them but you need a lot more than 50 for any impact

Off to a good start. Didn't notice them but, way to go.

If we ended up doing this, and called them Bobcat Blankies, I might cry.

Prowl Towels, please.
