Does anyone have the latest on ticket sales? How many people do they expect?

Looks like almost two full sections empty on the side showing on the TV.

According to the announcers, it sounds like it's a packed house! Is this true?

The game really filled up by about 10:00 to go in the first. I was impressed, and boy was the crowd LOUD.

I thought I heard 9400 announced just after the game ended.

The student sections weren't very full. Every other section was near capacity-except maybe the endzone. I guessing a lot of those people migrated to other sections as the wind was right in their face.

It was a great crowd considering nobody on the planet expected us to host and holiday plans were already made.

Crowd noise was a significant factor early in the game when Furman was trying to audible. They had a false start and also had to burn a timeout at one point.

3,401--- New Hampshire @ Hampton
4,400--- Illinois State @ Eastern Illinois
5,388--- Lafayette @ Umass
9,427--- Furman @ Montana State
20,077-- McNeese St @ Montana

So it looks like we did alright. Montana's numbers are astronomical-good for them. Knowing you're going to host no doubt helps-as does selling out every game in the regular season. This might have been the only chance a lot of Missoula locals had to go to a game?

As of Wed, they had sold half of the total tickets and around 1000 student tickets. Now I'm sure they picked up on student sales, but because of out of state students with strict flight schedules and first-year students with no place to stay (reshalls were closed), they weren't expecting their usual 3500. Not bad for a game where students had to pay and many were out of town. I was glad to see so many people there on a busy weekend.

I've sat on the booster side for over two years now. Today, our tickets were spread out, so we went over to one of the open sections on the student side.

I am proud to say that the Booster side was rockin' and loud today....way to go old fogies (myself included in that).

The student side was rockin' as well. But, I was very proud of the most conservative side to really get behind the team and get into the game.

What an unbelievable day to be a Bobcat!!!!!!

I will tell you what, the booster side rocked! I have never seen them so boisterous. What a fun game. I sat on the student side, but sure enjoyed it all! Loved all the gold!
