That fumble hurts no matter what happens because the offense is basically moving without much resistance from SDSU. Get it back and go back to work.

Glad to hear the crowd is big again. So much for no pressure on the QB like last week. Two sacks in the first quarter alone. Now come on offense stick it down their throat. Don't know about the fumbling - it does seem to be becoming a habit.

That is great! I hope it is really packed next game again. Glad to see you made it back to the site VegasCat.

Sounds like Lulay may get 50+ attempts again today since Domenick can't hold onto the ball and their isn't a backup available.

Offense

Post by rtb » Sat Oct 23, 2004 1:46 pm

The way we are picking apart this team on offense reminds me of the comeback versus NAS last year. We passed all over the field with no trouble in that game.

Some of the things Beal does amaze me. How can you tackle a guy before the ball gets there.

If Domenick could hold onto the ball, EJ could catch it and punt, and we would quit with the penalties we would be killing these guys. What is EJ's problem??????

They must be trying to protect Travis? Good job defense missed FG. That crown on the field got him too. Still tied 7-7 about 1/2 way through the second quarter.

EJs Problem

Post by rtb » Sat Oct 23, 2004 1:57 pm

EJs problem is he is not very good. Travis isn't punting because of the knee being banged up. At least the FG wasn't good!! We have a chance if we stop making mistakes.

Now Mike Williams is out for the game. Who the hell is going to return punts and kickoffs now? Injuries are killing us. I agree about EJ - I think the Weber State game was his day in the spotlight.
