Blue & Gold is over watching the game with me and he's convinced that Jefferson needs to be added. Can't say as I can argue with him after today's game....thoughts?

I agree. He is easily our Offensive MVP. And we wouldn't be where we are at in Conference without him.

Today's performance combined with NAU.....he should be added to the list.

Quite the argument Swilly. He has been unbelievable the past month and has the best stats in the country during that time. Without his play the Cats just aren't a contender in the Big Sky, but not above .500 either. Great job Michael and keep it up. Spec's was roaring with their approval of your play.

Well, the guy had himself an awesome game today. What, five TDs? Criminey.

Nice win today. As the Griz found out also, survival wins look just as nice in the standings as any other type.

When he doesn't show up we lose, when he does we win. I would consider him an MVP caliber player.

He should be added to the list. The way he is playing this season is impressisve. Maybe he should be added to the Bilintnikov list as well. (no idea how to spell Fred's last name)

Definitely BSC POW and a possible Payton candidate if he keeps it up.

At this point, I think Ricky Santos has to be a top 3 favorite. Through 10/21, he has amassed the following totals:

1860 passing yards
249 rushing yards
19 passing touchdowns
7 rushing touchdowns
3 interceptions
QB rating of 157

Thanks for sticking your neck out Barechest. It will be interesting to see the numbers he puts up next week. Weber State is a tough team, no doubt, but I would love to see the middle of the field open up to see Jefferson streaking to catch a Rolo bullet.

I would love to see Jefferson on the Peyton watch list. My guess is that David Ball at New Hampshire is a shoe in for that award after breaking Jerry Rice's record but he should at least be on the list.

The biletnikoff award would be another option for him but I don't know how much consideration a 1AA player would get even as good as Jefferson is doing. :|

Just one thought. It is Payton Award, not the Peyton award.
