PSU Predictions
I think that this is one that the CATS are being written off by most outsiders. Most think that 3 straight home losses will soon become 4 straight home losses.
The team has its backs to the wall for the rest of the season as I see it. I think that this will help them come out determined, aggressive and ready to roll.
CATS 37 - vikes 20
Hastings continues to roll up an outstanding streak of made FG's.

Thanks CTOWM. Stick with Matt D. on your predictions and we may truly be setting up a showdown in November. I can't bring myself to picking this game. I hope the REAL Cats show up on Saturday!!Cat-theotherwhitemeat wrote:Portland State will have a let down after their Griz loss. However, if I pick the Cats they will lose for sure and I'm hoping the Cats win every game up until the Cat/Griz game (of course).
Viks - 21
Cats - 17

Going with my prediction from last week.
If we can run the ball and be balanced MSU - 24 PSU - 17
If we don't run the ball and thus not balanced then
MSU - 10 PSU 28
I say shake the playbook up some. Misdirection type plays again. PSU's defense is not disciplined I dont' think so make them pay for their overpursuit.

I am thinking that all three phases of the game score.LuvMaroon wrote:I am not saying you can't or won't win, but I will be AMAZED if the Cats score 37 points on the Portland St. Defense!
Mason: 15 yard run.
Tyler Lulay: 47 yard pass.
Austin: 40 yard int return
Lewis: 95 yard KO return
Mr. Reliable: 4 FG's
Not in any particular manner, mind you. I don't want to sound to cocky by putting those scores in any type of order.
In all reality, the CATS seem to play much better when things are on the line. It is Homecoming, and 4 home losses just wouldn't cut it.

ok... I've been hesitant to make a prediction yet this season, but what the heck!
I predict I'll be drunk on Bloody Mary's by 9:30 am, hoarse before the 1st Bobcat offensive series is over, nearly having a coronary by the halftime, getting re-drunk (yeah, I know that's not a word) and filled up on bratwurst at halftime, will fall up at least one step on the way to my seats 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter, and by the end of the game will probably be whisked away in a waiting ambulance as the Cardiac Cats come from behind to win on a 38 yard Jeff Hastings field goal.... FINAL SCORE, CATS 23, PSU 21
