and there's a run up the middle for a minimal gain!
That's all I heard of the Cat game on the radio on my road trip before I turned off the radio. I'm seriously doubting the intelligence of Bailey. What is the point of calling these plays all the time? Why is he still here!?!?!?

If that is all of the miserable play calling you caught, you were lucky. Five minutes to go and in need of two scores, it takes us three and a half minutes to get to our own 40 yard line. Gotta love those three yard passes to the middle of the field.

Quoted for emphasis.
That, and our guys casually jogging up to the line during a hurry-up situation, really was the cherry on top of the whole homestand for me.
I can't put my finger on it exactly, but something is seriously f'ed up with our team.
Gotta keep hoping for the best, at least.

The only explanation I have is that last week we started over with a new defensive formation, and some new running backs and started the year with a new QB. The defense was "vanilla" most likely we did not get a blitz package installed in two to three days. The offense has not evolved to the point where the two minute drill has been worked on to run like Travis ran it. Face it....we are a young team for the most part, and getting younger with the injuries.

Cory has been in the program for years...as has Bailey. I think we could show some sense of urgency.

We ran a two minute drill in H.S. with urgency. I wouldn't consider my H.S. team one of the best to ever grace a football field, either.
