Last week the Sagarin projections were right for 4 of the 7 games, making the % correct for the year drop to 73.9%. Here are this week's projected winners:

Montana State over Eastern Washington
Montana over Sac St
NAU over ISU in Pocatello
Portland State over Weber in Ogden
Western Illinois over Northern Colorado in Greely

Here are the new final standings predictions:

Portland State: 9-2 Overall, 8-0 Conference
Montana: 9-2 Overall, 7-1 Conference
Northern Arizona: 6-5 Overall, 5-3 Conference
Montana State: 6-5 Overall, 5-3 Conference
Eastern Washington: 5-6 Overall, 5-3 Conference
Weber State: 3-8 Overall, 2-6 Conference
Sacramento State: 2-9 Overall, 2-6 Conference
Idaho State: 2-9 Overall, 1-7 Conference
Northern Colorado: 2-9 Overall, 1-7 Conference

It will be interesting to see the effect of head-to-head conference match-ups on these projections.

I agree. I think Portland will be the big winner this year.

The predictions look good, but my upset call is for Weber State to beat Portland State - not that PSU isn't good, but with the QB issues, and maybe a bit of looking ahead to next week they might be ripe for WSU to pick up a big win.

Montana always seems to struggle after a bye week also, hopefully they come out fast against Sac State and put up some points early, or it could be a very close game as well.

With no smack talk intended, Sagarin doesn't count D-II games. So, the picks would have to bit off for Montana State, Idaho State, and Eastern Washington.

Sagarin generally sucks at football, and especially w/ I-AA. Better at BB, but even then I don't pay much attention until a few games into the conf. schedule. Even then, he doesn't mean $hit. JMHO

I have ISU at home.

PSU seems to be the sexy pick this year...but, November kills them every year...I don't see any change in that - especially now that they are down to their 3rd string QB.

I got confused when you said Idaho State in this list, but then I remembered they played a DII school out of their same state, I believe the Vandals or something. I don't follow DII so I can't say forsure.
