After watching this team play twice my feelings on the O is that Baily has a philosophy that he is not going to change. He has it in his head that we are going to be a pass first team......OK We dont have a QB that can run a pass first team. We end up third and long/ 3 and out.
It seems like the good coaches across the country can adjust to the skills of the players to take every advantage of what they can do. We seem to have alot of round pegs in square holes. Everyone is bashing Taito is he really that bad? I think he has shown good effort when given the opurtunity. We set ourselves up for 2nd and 3rd and long and we must pass. No draw....no toss sweep....nothing but 5 step drops to the flat.
In Bailey's efforts to keep the defense guessing we end up about as predictiable as it comes. In the two games I never saw once where we would run twice in a row and pass for a 4 yard gain for first down.
I'm not against any coaches but it appears they are just to damn pig headed.
Sorry for the rant.
GO CATS!!!
My thoughts on the O

I couldn't agree with you more. I like Kramer very much and McEndoo has done a great job with the line over the years. Baily has absolutely no creativity and it appears as though we never attack another teams weakness.
Carpenter appears to be a straight drop back passer and not comfortable with running the ball. If that is the case then adjustments do need to be made and that definately is something good coaches do.
In looking back at both games the thing that disappoints me even more is the total lack of in game adustments and the lack of halftime adjustments. Was Colorado that bad? Are the Cats this helpless without Lulay? I hope the answer to both of those questions is no.

I heard something funny last week after the game, a guy I had just met asked if anyone had checked to make sure that Bailey isn't Hysell in sheeps clothing. i don't know it made me laugh. It is wierd to compare the 2 with the stubborn streak that both have.
