Just curious what others thought on the 3-4 D. And why the hell are we never in a 4-3 with the size of our d-line?

Because our DCoordinator's father was a progenitor of the 3-4, so it's in the blood. It could also be devastating with the kind of speed we have on D, particularly throughout our LB corps. Those are my best guesses.

The 3-4 you need LB's with speed AND that can tackle though. We need to shore up our tackling fundamentals as we are missing way too many tackles for the 3-4 style of defense.

And we need King to HAVE a CLUE... he can't chase anymore plays. He has got to know where it is that he stands, who his reads are, and react NOW! If not, pull him for a game and let him watch what it looks like to have a #2 play with intelligent LB skills.

King looks like he's playing hurt, if you ask me. This whole year he has seemed a little timid compared to what I remember from last.

Just MHO.

Not unless Crazycat is the deciding factor! :P

I never turned in my fan card, just the Cal Davis tickets. I'm assuming the game looked as bad at the stadium last week as it did on my TV in Billings. I'll be back in Boz this Saturday to beg the true fans for forgiveness as they drop hot BBQ coals into my pants in the name of Lady Redemption.

Seriously, though, Epi doesn't look himself out there.

i like the 4-3

we have big boys on the line. let them take on the o-line. Have the LB fill in the gaps.

I'd like to see more blitzing this game. make the QB uncomfortable.

Offense please run the rock! i don't care if it's all 3 downs. that o-line will click!

I don't have any faith in our recivers... they seem to have left thier game at CU
except young Lulay he was catching heaters from Jack. i mean HEATERS!

Recievers....catch ball 1st !@#$%^&* make a big play 2nd!

I hate running strictly the 3-4. I am all for the 4-3. I'm tired of the gaping holes in our d-line that the opponents' running backs can just walk through. The Cal Poly game last year was the defining moment of my hatred for the 3-4.
