Diggin deep within

Post by CaliCat » Sun Sep 17, 2006 5:42 pm

This team needs to dig deep within and overcome the psych issues that might be hanging over them. They also need to come together as a team. If there is some kind of dissent, the coaches AND the players need to work through it for the betterment of the TEAM and the program. If the loss to Chadron state (supposedly the lesser team) has deflated them, the digging needs to go deeper.

I am not trying to sound like a ra-ra cheerleader, but we MUST hold tight to our FAITH in this team, especially if the team is waning in their faith of themselves. I, for one, am holding on to my faith in them until they can have faith in themselves once again.

Never, never, never give up. Never. It's learned on the playing field of life as well as on turf. Hopefully they have learned that as little pop warner guys, or even before from their upbringings.

That's where the digging and the faith and the hope is.

Good post! Yes-the coaches and players need to dig deep within this week. I still say we have more talent on this team than we have had in years. We saw it in Colorado! They need to get their confidence back and get some rythem going. We are still in this thing and it's not too late to make it a good season.

The coaches especially need to get their act together and get us back on track. I hope we fill the stadium next week. We need to give them our 100% support!

I agree 10000% I am with the team through thick and thin. I know they have talent. They know they are the superior team. Yes, we all have been complaining about the players, coaches, probably would complain about the weather if we werent in Montana  . None of this means we have given up. I guess it is part of the game. I will be at the game this weekend, like I have been at the games the past thirty+ years. I will scream for the cats when they need it. My support will always be there for them. Time to slap on your big boy pants and kick some ass!!

You are just the typical Griz fan troll.

Typical Griz troll response #293:
Cats need more players from Montana.

Atu and Yo were good players for the Griz in 2001, but look at their offensive line (Griz linemen Szalay and McFarlane and Proctor have played in the NFL).

Figure it out kitties, but let me here your agrueents. You have nothing but good players with NO cohesiveness. by the way i am including KR and PR in the equation, of starters.

Hey Dip**** your team that has 3/4 of its players from MT only has seven less out of staters than the Cats. You are a frickin' moron.

I think we would all love to see more Montana kids on our roster. I would guess that the graduation rate of Montana kids is nearly double that of out of state kids. And I would love to see the GPA comparison.
But just remember. Earl and Cliff literally destroyed MSU's recruiting of Montana kids, to the point that high school coaches despised them. That's an entire generation of Montana atheletes. All the time, Don Read was doing just the opposite.
The Big Human has tipped the scales the other way, and for that, I am greatful. I still support him 100%, even though I've been so pee'd off the past two Saturdays. I am not fan of Don Bailey's, and never have been. He just doesn't seem to be able to make needed adjustments during the coarse of a game.

We have to realize that every once in a while, a griz fan gets potty trained, learns the alphabet and spelling (well, sort of), then buys a computer. This is the first thing grizz then contribute to most message boards. Give him time, he will mature

Turner, either grow up or go away. You're embarassing the schitt out of yourself. If you don't think that, you're stupid, too.
