In this video Colter reminds us that in the semi-final game after the Griz were up 23-20, the next 5:05 was what he describes as a "fever-pitched blur" where the Cats scored 28 points; then there was no more scoring in the last 7 minutes of the game.

Colter's timing numbers are all wrong.

I agree Colter’s time line is wrong. The Cats were ahead at the end of the third quarter. I remember commenting to my buddy at the game that we were ahead at the end of the first quarter we were ahead at the end of the second quarter and we were ahead at the end of the third quarter if we could keep that up for one more quarter we were going to Nashville!

Colter had an interesting take on Vigen moving on, and I think I agree with his rational. Enjoyable conversation none the less, even if a few things were misremembered.

You guys misheard me because I misspoke. I said the lead was "only three, or wait, four points". Because it was....in favor of the Cats. I'm sorry if that was implied to be in favor of the Griz. I know that the Cats were winning with 12:05 left. It was 27-23. I know that's when the blitz started and it went from 27-23 to 48-23 in the span of five minutes and 5 seconds. I just stuttered over that part. But in free flow podcasts, not worth editing or re doing, you just hope people know what you're talking about....
Was there other spots I was wrong?
Griz went up 23-20 midway through the third, then Cats went back up 27-23 on the sweet drive that included Lencioni TD. Then it was all Cats from there. Anything I misremembered there?

Colter, thanks for all the excellent content you provide. The build-up (stories and interviews) for the super brawl was amazing. I look forward to your upcoming content for the natty.

I thoroughly enjoyed Talking Schmidt this past week. I just wish he wouldn’t sugar coat it so much (10000% sarcasm)
My wife is a gris alum and loved it as well. She hates hawktua

We watched it twice
I had not heard anything from “Talking Schmidt” before. Due to some of the language, sorry, some words I don’t care for, but was really shocked to catch so much honesty there, even as I remember, even from the big guy. Nice to know there are some gris fans that seem to care.

It's interesting how similar MSU and ISU are. I enjoyed the interviews with their coach and players too, engaging guys, very knowledgeable and humble too. Reading articles about each team it seems like they recruit and develop the same, have key players in the same spots, it's going to be quite a game. Could be a very close one, perhaps even an OT or two.
