We did pretty good…..

Considering that the griz were better. They should have beat us the first time but we got lucky breaks. Loud was back and I’m pretty sure he’s a top 10 draft pick. Their running backs are way better. Their offense is elite. And not just Statue of Liberty up 16 with 2 minutes to go elite, but actually elite.

I’m glad the Cats were able to muster a victory despite all those odds. And apparently what was right in front of everyone’s faces.

Very smart people west of the divide insisted the griz were better and I assume they still think so because a griz fan is never wrong. But I’m proud to be a Cat fan tonight and I’m thankful they were able to overcome those insurmountable odds.

I got sooo sick of the narratives all week making the Gr*z sound like world beaters. Doubled down, stamped our W in Missoula. What are they gonna say now?

Knowing had much this butt-kicking by the Bobcats stings Bobby makes it all the more sweet of a win as a fan and alumnus.

Three straight wins against him and two were in a convincing manner.

Only two? The game in zoo town wasn't particularly close.

The arrogance was immense but not unexpected.

It’s who they are. But this win coupled with a win on Jan 5 would go a long ways to shutting em up. There will be some that still throw little brother out but inside they know they are lying.

Was talking to a buddy about this after the game. They’re fans still think it’s 2001. All the same arrogance but minus the dominant football team. Their board was laughable all week but that’s why I love it! I was telling everyone who’d listen this game wouldn’t be close. They’re just not as good as the Cats this year and anyone with eyes could see that. They have very loyal fans but at some point you think they’d see their own arrogance!

This is their fan base, there coach and their players. That arrogance got amped up during “the streak”. And then you have the pussies on this board who think we should buy them a drink and give them a hug. F- that!! They are lousy people cheering for a lousy team in a lousy town!

Would your Lil bro lose to you the first time ever you both play eachother in the playoffs? Let alone the semis? I think not! This will forever be my comeback now when ever they bring up the record.

So here’s a calculation regarding how many points ‘home field advantage’ is worth in the CAT-gris Brawl.

Assuming each venue has equal advantages……..
  • On a ‘neutral’ field the BOBCATS are 14 pts > than the gris, which equates to an 11 point advantage each way………… based on the following;
  • In mizzou, BOBCATS win by 3 which = 14(superior team) minus 11(home field advantage) = 3 point win.
  • In Bozeman, BOBCATS win by 25 which = 14(superior team) plus 11(home field advantage) = 25 point win.
Just basic algebra. GO CATS!!!

This sounds reasonable, but I can't accept this premise without a thorough peer review. Paging Dr. @rfischer94! Does this proof hold up?

You can't spell dUMb without UM and now you can't spell grizzLLies without 2 Ls.
