Alex's Lemonade Stand (Fight Childhood Cancer) - Taco Dowler Fundraiser

Post by RangeCat » Wed Nov 12, 2025 3:59 pm

Hi everyone,

For anyone not aware Taco Dowler was selected as the representative/team captain for Montana State University to participate in Alex's Lemonade Stand, which raising funds to fight childhood cancer. Other FCS schools also participate, namely the Dakota schools.

As of now, Taco/MSU has raised the 3rd most funds behind the South Dakota schools! This has become a quasi-competition, but really whatever funds are raised regardless of who/what school is fantastic.
If you'd like to donate, here is the link to Taco's page: https://www.alexslemonade.org/2025/cast ... university

This is really awesome for Taco and the whole football program, but more importantly the kids and families who go through these battles. From what I understand, the players really buy into the events and do their best to encourage the kids and to make themselves available.

Absolutely. It has especially been a big deal in the Dakotas the past few years. Glad MSU is getting involved!

Hey, Bobcat Nation, I just wanted to bump this thread and encourage you all to consider donating to this very worthy cause and organization. I can tell you from personal experience, having a young relative get diagnosed with cancer is a gut punch like no other. Visiting them in one of the childhood cancer hospitals is very sobering, but also a real eye-opener because, while your attention is focused on your relative, you also see how many other babies, young infants, and adolescents are there suffering from some form of this hideous disease.
This Thanksgiving, our family is very, very thankful for the outstanding doctors, nurses and staff that have worked to give our grandson the best treatment we could imagine. He and his brother also had an amazing opportunity to meet and hang out with Taco, Caden, and many of the Bobcat players who are supporting this fundraiser. Outstanding gentlemen in every way and we are very thankful for the time and effort they all took to spend time with the boys – all facilitated thru this Alex’s Lemonade Stand fundraiser.
So, if you have the means, heart, or desire to be a part of something worthwhile this Thanksgiving, please consider donating.
Thanks!
