Week 10 Big Sky Week 6

Bad week last week but had been doing well enough to absorb a bad one. 0-5-1 against the spread and 3-3 straight up. Got a little wild and picked a couple upsets that did not come to fruition. Still 19-6 overall straight up and 15-9-1 versus the Spread. On to this week

Idaho @ NAU(+.5) So basically a pick-em as a friday night special. I'm sure ESPN thought this matchup would have more playoff intrigue when they picked it as one of the Big Sky ESPN2 games they are doing. Not so much now. Maybe Idaho is back with Wood playing but back for them is still not as good as NAU, and its in Flagstaff. NAU wins (Bet of the week)

UM @ Weber St(+21.5) Is this the point in the season that Weber gives up? If they do the gris run away with this one. I think Weber can get 2 or 3 scores but will that be enough to cover that big a number? Griz are still below .500 when it comes to the spread. Its style points season though  Griz win and cover

Sac St @ EWU(+7.5) Sac St has been putting up some gaudy numbers on offense and if they weren't so undisciplined they probably would have made that game last Friday much closer. EWU has won 3 in a row after getting blasted by the Cats but against the dregs of the conference. Sac wins and covers

Idaho St @ Davis(-13) I picked last week for ISU to upset NAU so naturally this is the week it will happen. Seriously if ISU played the griz schedule they would probably more like 6-2 than 2-6 and looking like a playoff team. Still they can't seem to figure out how to win. Does Davis get Pinnick back? Does it matter? Davis to win but ISU covers.

PSU @ Cal Poly(19.5) Last I checked PSU is still bad and Cal Poly is frisky. Cal Poly wins and covers a big number.

MSU @ UNCU(+22) I've done well picking da bears to cover as they keep giving lots of points and they keep covering. 22 is a huge number but I don't think the Cats coaching staff or players were happy with the performance last week. I picked that the Cats would cover a big number vs EWU after a lackluster offensive performance the week prior. I'm gonna do it again. Cats win and cover.

A few other games of note.

Gardner Webb @ Tenn Tech. This doesn't currently mean anything to the Cats but if they drop the Brawl, at 9-3 teams like Tech and Monmouth could sneak into the backend of the top 8 seeds and push the Cats out to a worse seed. Probably not but could, we all know that losing that game can move you back a lot.

Tarleton @ ACU. UTT has 2 ranked teams left on their schedule. ACU and Peay. Peay is the last week of the season and at home for Tarleton. ACU is all over the place in terms of performance. Beat a good Peay but lost to SUU and UIW(BAD). This might be the best chance for UTT to drop a game. I've heard both McKinnell and Herder say if they win out the way they have been beating teams, Tarleton should get the 2.

YSU @ NDSU. The other top 25 matchup this week.

Unbelievable! Nau should win by 21.

Weber made some big mistakes last week. I’d take the points.

I really want EW to win this. Fans and media were punching down on them after big loss to MSU and they haven’t lost since.

Idaho St @ Davis(-13) I picked last week for ISU to upset NAU so naturally this is the week it will happen. It matters. Backup 180’d in second half last week. I still think ucd will win

PSU @ Cal Poly(19.5) Last I checked PSU is still bad and Cal Poly is frisky. Cal Poly wins and covers a big number.
Yeah

usually weird place to play. I think msu is going to be sharper this week

Sports Bet MT still hasn't released a line for either of the Montana schools?? They have a whole bunch of other FCS games.

Tonights game opened NAU -2.5 and has steadily gone up to -5.5.

It’s definitely difficult to see them losing any on the rest of their schedule.

Watching the NAU-Idaho game and you can barely hear the game announcers due to the noise from stadium. There are hardly any people in the stands, but they have a microphone picking up all the stadium noise and it is overwhelming the TV announcers. Weird.

Didn’t realize until tonight ESPN was yanked from YouTube TV. So just kind of following the gamecast. NAU is definitely having struggles this year.

NAU doing their best to lose this game. Idaho 19-7 at the half. The NAU TD came on a cool blocked punt. Should be a sports center highlight.

Can’t imagine, if NAU is healthy, that they lose this game

NAU is in big trouble now. Down 26-7.

Did I miss something? Did Jerome Souers sneak back onto the NAU sidelines? Guess NAU just gonna NAU...

BSC officials strike again. NAU goes for it on 4th, clearly have the 1st down, marked half a yard short and no review.

Pretty sure they had it on 3rd. They missed a 4th down in the first half that was pretty clearly picked up on 3rd.

NAU storming back. 26-21 and they have the ball.

Why does the BSC have a replay official? Are they napping during games? They never do their job.

Tie game at the end of regulation. Idaho almost missed a FG with no time left, but inched it in for O.T.. 29-29

But not impossible.

Bad loss. Lumberjacks had a chance to maybe not get to a top 8 seed but be at least a top 16 that would mean they get a home game to being a bubble team that travels turkey day weekend like last year.
