Poly is open this week too. They seem to be significantly improved.
Only 1-2 in last three games. Beat SAC, lost to Davis, lost UM. First two were a score apart and led the last one to start fourth before they collapsed.

I agree. The next two road games were absolute cakewalks in August. However, both teams are significantly better than they’ve been in a long time. Going to be a battle!

Paul Wulff is a good coach. (Notwithstanding his WSU time, but that's a tough place to win). Not surprised. (Speaking of Old EWU/ Cal Poly coaches, I would not be shocked if Baldwin ends back up at EWU once Best gets fired at the end of this season).

If this game is in Bozeman, I'm saying another forty point blowout. But since it's CP, it could very well be a nailbiter. Or, it could be another NAU where everyone thought it was going to be a nailbiter because it's "so hard to win at NAU".

Is EWU even a better job?

Kind of wild Dakota Prukop replaced Baldwin as QB coach for Calgary.

At least in the past you could win there. With the current CFB landscape andEWU lack of resources, it’s a bottom third of the big sky or worse job now.

I saw that shortly after it happened because I was checking on Baldwin after I heard he stepped down. Add the fact that Prukop is working for Dickinson and it only adds to it

Cats roll. Like us winning by about 25. I said it after SDSU that we’re winning out at least till the brawl. Think we’re better in that one too but coach needs to show me he can win in Missoula.
Still think overall we’re better this year than last year

I think we take their souls in Missoula. Their line play is not good.

And they only have four road games all season.

This is my thought every week. There’s recorded interviews with the head coach and at least two players. They say all kinds of intriguing stuff and it’s crickets on this message board. The thread regarding the sac president, which should have started on the College Sports page, gets more attention here than the football team. Depressing.

Looking forward to the Bobcats visiting San Luis Obispo. MSU football has been impressive. Cal Poly has struggled the last decade and while we are not where we want to be as a program yet, we look like for the first time in a while we are headed in the right direction. If our QB Deiffenbach is healthy and has knocked off some of the rust (he missed 2 1/2 games with an injury and struggled last week in Missoula in the 2nd half) we should give you a competitive game. If not it could get ugly. Anyone traveling to SLO for the game?

Cal Poly will be fired up for this game! I have no doubt our team will come down and be ready as well. I’m sure the week off has helped you guys as much as it has helped us, aside from one starter we should have all our starters back.
This years Cats will be different than the last few times we have played as we are much more balanced on offense. Our defense has been a brick wall so far, however, the Ducks game did no favors for our defensive stats.
As of now, what’s the game day forecast looking like?
