Makes a lot of sense, it doesn't seem like there's any reason to have 11-game seasons in some years and 12-game seasons in others. Once Sac State leaves and if UC Davis eventually gets a football invite to the Mountain West, that would leave 10 teams in the Big Sky football conference and they could move to a fully round-robin 9-game conference schedule. It's always a little annoying when some teams don't play each other every year, especially in a year like 2022 when MSU and Sac State were 8-0 co-champions.
