Assuming revenue sharing passes, things are going to get interesting.

I'm guessing since the griz are doing it, it makes sense for MSU to as well. Keeps things more even. NDSU, if it's true that their collective has a $6 million coffer, doesn't feel they need it.

Victor Flores posted a story about it with an interview with Costello, but it's behind a paywall so we'll never know what it says

But if anyone has read anything about what this actually means I'd be very interested, seems like an interesting decision but I definitely trust Leon's judgement.

It's very easy to get around the paywall.

Leon Costello has said multiple time on the record that Montana State is opting into the House settlement.

Kent Haslam at Montana has said a few times that Montana is not going to opt in right away.

Just proves the difference in the leadership of the 2 schools. Leon knew the score and didn’t hesitate. Kent needs it spelled out for him, told like he’s in 5th grade and even then just follows the leader (Leon).

So, is the AD at NDSU in 5th grade? Because they opted in at the same time.

Not necessary for the first year. That’s why schools decided to opt in late.
