TWO DOT News Flash

So I went to the Cat-Griz Watch Party in Yuma a few weeks ago. Lot's of cat's in one section of the upstairs bar and about the same Gris fans on the other side. Introduced to a woman who knew where Two Dot was and she had a Canadian friend that didn't want to tell people she was from "Cananda" so she decided to tell everyone that she was from Two Dot, MT as there can be no one in Yuma at that was from such a small Montana town.
They went out to an event in Yuma and were stunned that the person at the check in had a name tag and was from Two Dot, MT....

Nothing wrong with Two Dot. I have a story to tell but it is too long to type out to do it justice.

yup.. we had a great time!
gris left early and were lousy tippers.

So, I have a sister that lives in Ryegate. When my parents would venture to Ryegate to visit they would always stop at the Two Dot Bar. Mom would get her R&R with a splash and dad would get his VO Ditch. Even though it has been a few years since mom and dad have passed, there are still a few that remember "those Two". My wife and I carry on the Tradition of stopping when we head that way.

it was the brand of the guy who donated the land for the townsite. There’s an urban legend reason but this website is G rated.

Guy's name was Wilson, I have never heard anything other about the brand/name Two Dot other than is it spelled with a space (Two Dot) or not (TwoDot)

Not sure of location on critters but easiest brand ever. Also easy for cattle rustlers to modify I suppose.

I always thought they named it that as a joke, pretending it was such a huge city it needed two dots on the map rather than one.
