Without taking a deep dive, I like Davis. Other than their win over NDSU, USD seems to have slowed down. I think UCD still has a chip on their shoulders after getting snubbed last year. This is a prove it to everyone game for them.

Just because I don't want to see yet ANOTHER conference foe in the playoffs, I'd like to see USD win. Haven't played them in a long time.

I guess it depends on which Davis shows up. If you go rewatch the ISU game for the first half of the first qtr it was looking like the Aggies were gonna get run out of their stadium. Then the offense got rolling and the D settled in. Davis has had bouts in the season where they played horrible. The second qtr versus the Cats, the entire game versus PSU. They can't do that Saturday.

I think Davis wins it, then gets to come to Bozeman and find out that their near-comeback against the Cats was a fluke.

South Dakota at home gets the nod.

UCD for 3.5 quarters, USD squeaks it out at the end.

Davis Wins by 3 and after they lose to MSU announce that they are moving to the MW for football in 2026.
The reason they cite is that the competition in the BSC is too intense and the MW would be a better fit where they could compete for championships year after year.

A very small part of me wishes NDSU did pull it out vs USD. VERY SMALL. We would be hosting SDSU and NDSU would get Davis and I would think an all Big Sky matchup in Frisco would be very much likely. Im good with the 1 seed though.

South Dakota. We're haunted by that fluky comeback but we had proved for 3.5 quarters that Davis isn't that good/close, and that was in their place. Don't think they have the ponies to go win on the road. Key on Larison and get pressure, Hastings can be had.

NDSU is still a more complete team than UCD. SDSU is even. But Larison would be the best skill player that either team would have seen in a potential matchup.

I think we see a dangerous UCD team in Bobcat Stadium next week. UCD by 10.
