National signing day (regular period) - Starts 5 Feb

Okay, we are getting real close to the early signing period, just a little over a day away. The Cats currently have 23 commits with one of those commits still unknown, but, most likely, that commit is Josaiah Asuega. Now, do the Cats hold onto all their commits? We’ve seen this story before with a commit getting picked off at the last second. I think everyone currently committed looks safe to become Bobcats, but you just never know for sure. We can still lose commits after signing day, but that happens less often. Will there be any surprise announcements/signings? I bet we see some PWO announcements, if not on Wednesday, then certainly by February. Transfers are a whole other story. We probably won’t hear about any early transfers until later on this month or in January. I know, transfers can come in later as well, but I’m sure the Cats want most transfers in for Spring ball.

Anyway, fingers crossed it all goes smoothly on Wednesday morning. I’ll be up early to post the announcements as they come in. Yes, I’m sure MSU will put out a press release later on that day and maybe even a Vigen interview.

I also know that the old NLI isn’t signed anymore. The recruits sign letters of financial aid, but they are signing something, so it’s still signing day to me.

Go Cats.

Then they can go to um and win fewer rings than if they kept their original commitment to MSU. I’m certain that has happened before to someone.

Sweet. You have some Gatorade ready. Keep hydrated tomorrow AF. Some snacks close by. You have a lot of work to do and we need you in tip top condition!

I can’t believe nobody has signed yet. None of these guys are going to make here. Don’t they know workouts start at 400am.

Very disappointed that none of our recruits have traveled to New Zealand where it's currently 3:30 AM on the 4th in order to get their letters sent in as early as possible.

With these rumors of Vigen possibily leaving, I wonder how tomorrow looks now. I guess we will find out.

All of these kids commit knowing that their coaches likely won’t be there for all 4-5 years.
