When the Mony Mony song came on at the 2min time out and the players on the sideline went crazy gave me chills!
Plus that seemed to me like the loudest crowd chanting of the song that I have ever heard!

I would love to see everyone's videos from their perspective during the 2min timeout

I think it’s disgusting that we do that. Very classless and disrespectful. Bobby and his program and all of Griz Nation would never stoop to this level of classlessness. This should stop immediately and never be done again. Just kidding, this was maybe the best moment of the game yesterday. This is the culture that Bobby brought to this rivalry and I’m so glad he has to sit and watch that….along with his players and the fans. They created it, but can’t stand it when they are on the losing side. How does it feel now *******!!!!!

I have grown to like the chant and one of the big reasons is that it wasn't some marketing department idea. The chant came about from the fans and it's for the fans. If the gris fans can't handle it, I don't really care.

The Griz could start a similar chant and it wouldn't bother me one bit. The fact it bothers them is just funny at this point

Mony Mony is perfect for many different chants. When I was in the service back in the 80s, we'd sing "Hey, Hey you, get l**d get f***ed". Juvenile? Perhaps, but we liked it.

It was amazing hearing the whole stadium erupt when that came on. I had thought it a bit juvenile but experiencing it, like that, in that moment, watching the players dancing on the sidelines, it was just epic!

I think it just evolved over time. Yeah, there have been different lyrics included, like the "Get Laid, Get F!*@ed" lyric. I think the "Eat S$#@" lyric happened the same way, it just fits and the song is fun. "Eat Sh$# Grizzlies" and "Go Cats Go" have been around forever, way before Mony Mony.

Many moons ago you’d hear ‘poooooooooooooor grisslieeeeeeeees’ over and over. I heard a few try to get that going in our area but as soon as Mony Mony hit, THE CHANT was on!! Bobby.1 really did cultivate the hate and I’m happy to perpetuate. (I’m a poet and didn’t know it)

I love the chant when I hear the song in the car, and in public one day a year. When people chant it while playing other teams, it's cringe worthy. It's absolutely fantastic on Cat/Griz day.

Honestly, I am not a huge fan of the chant, but I gotta admit, I participated. It actually felt right at that EXACT moment. Not a partipant when its played againt Weber State...

I’m serious with this request..Hoping you can set this up for

I think Bob Hawk retires after next year. There is no way he wants to experience another beat down and have to listen to that chant one more time in Bobcat stadium. You know it was painful for him.

If they lose Saturday, do you think he'll retire this year, contract extension or not?

I was taught the chant at orientation in 2002.
