It's here! Cat/Griz 2024 is upon us. The quest for 1-0, 12-0 begins at noon. Both teams can bolster their playoff resumes and seeding positions with a win. UM probably has more to lose, so they may play some crazy way.

Their are some big questions that will be answered today. Is the UM defense "back?" Is Fife this years McDowell? Can the Cats run for 400+? Can the the UM D stop the Cats offense enough to win, or even stay competitive? We'll have our answer in 12-15 hours.

This Cats team seems to be on another level, and a good but not great UM team shouldn't be able to stop the momentum. However, crazy things can and do happen in this rivalry game. It will take a focused and discipline effort from the Cats to finish this regular season undefeated, something I think we all expect. The sour tastes from last year's final regular season and playoff game losses aren't fresh, but they haven't gone away either. This team is determined and a true national championship contender.

We're winning the state in recruiting, and it's time to take it back on the field.

It is Game Day. What I want:
Touchdown Tommie: at least two times
Touchdown Taco: at least 2 times
Touchdown Scottre: at least 2 times
Touchdown Rohan: At least 1
Touchdown Adam: at least 1

Perhaps I am being greedy, by not sharing touchdowns with others, but if my game day wish comes true, The Montana State University Bobcats win by at least 20. It is time to kick some Gris ass. Go Bobcats!

Hey Bobcats, “Do YOU KNOW what time it is?”

This team is special, never been a Bobcat team going undefeated at 11-0 and a chance to close the regular season perfect at 12-0…but this team has the mentality and the tools to finish the season perfectly.

The Great Divide trophy needs to be put back in its place by this senior leadership crew!

Ending up #2 in the nation is a minimum goal that will ensure home field for the duration of the playoffs. And I love our chances to make it to the National Championship!

But, today more than anything else, this is about dominance in the State and in the Conference. I don’t like “sharing a trophy” with anyone. We lost it last year, we get it all to ourselves this year with a win. I think the team is laser focused on righting the missed opportunity and making a statement!

I’m confident this year, and I was last year as well, but barring injury to Tommy, I think he will step into his rightful place as a National Championship QB of the MSU Fighting Bobcats… and that ALL STARTS TODAY!!! Go get em Bobcats! It’s TIME!

I don’t think you’re being greedy at all but then again I would also like to see:
Cole Sain get numerous pancake blocks
Rylan Orrt get a pick six ++
Zack Crews get a strip sack++
JJ Dolan cause or recover a fumble on special teams +

If there seems to be a theme to my wants it’s purely coincidental and if I forgot anyone that fits the purely coincidental theme, my apologies and hope you get yours too.

This team is simply just better at all 3 phases. Even if the Cats had their worst game and gris had their best game, we’d still win by 3. I don’t see that happening. They don’t have the dudes up front to stop the running game this year. Cats are led by a very experienced group of seniors. Game might be close at halftime, but I’m guessing a 2-3 score win. Go Cats!

Did Hauck bus his kids in by bus this morning like he did 2 years ago -- spitefully refusing to contribute to Bozeman's economy? That year he nursed a special grudge because ESPN held College Gameday there. Well, thanks for feeding us the gris today! Personally, I love Missoula and the people who live there. They gave us Adam Jones, Rylan Ortt, Zac Crews, and Dylan Rollins. Go CATS! Break out the entire scoring arsenal and don't let up until we make it clear who's #1 in the nation. Turn their trick plays into desperate and embarrassing decisions.

Usually stays in Livingston, but 2 years ago I believe they stayed in Big Sky.
