Boarding now from Sacramento to Denver to Bozeman. There was a very large showing of Cat fans in Davis. Nice job Cat Nation

This would appear to be the new flight home. There's an Allegiant plane on its way from Vegas to Sacramento right now to presumably pick up the team.

When were they supposed to fly home? RIght after the game? I hope they got some time to sleep in a hotel if so

I'm guessing charter flights don't have the same contractual protections for passengers i.e. the airline has to make sleeping accommodations for flight issues in some cases.

Yeah, seems like it would be tough to find that many hotel rooms available on such short notice. I had to spend the night in the Seattle airport a couple years ago due to a flight cancellation and wouldn't wish the experience on anyone, but I'm guessing it would have been much less unpleasant when I was 20 instead of...a couple decades past that.

Any idea the cause of the delay ? Weather, mechanical issues ?

If it’s Allegiant, it’s 100% mechanical.

Allegiant is a hack of an operation. This team has endured a lot of delays over the years because of Allegiant’s shenanigans.

If I win the power ball I’d buy the university its own jet just so nobody would ever have to put up with this again. Athletes have too much going on to waste time in an airport waiting to fly home.

Now their replacement flight keeps getting delayed.

This is absolutely ridiculous ! They are missing an entire day of recovery and treatment.

The Bobcats are back home finally ! 10 hrs and 45 minutes later than planned.

They will not be flying again until 2025, so they have that going for them, which is nice...

Hoping by then they have dumped unreliable allegiant.
