Me, too, and they're being kind. I think Tootell said they kept improving in 2023 as the season went along. I thought they digressed back to the norm on offense starting in the Furman game and through the title game. They also didn't mention beating UC Davis when they were without Larison. I think if UM loses that game, they don't get past the semifinals and maybe not the quarters last year. I admit the committee always loves them, but they shouldn't be in if they lose these next 2. No other 7-5 team with losses to Weber, UND and PSU and no good wins would even sniff the playoffs. By those metrics they don't deserve a seed if they beat PSU. That's where I see the disconnect. I think the history of $$ would agree with you. But a 7-5 team with potentially only 1 ranked win (NAU), losses to 2 or 3 teams (depending on UND) with losing records, and ending on a 3-game losing streak would be hard to justify in the field over some others.CodyCat wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2024 11:50 amI agree.
