Week 8 - Over/Under Rushing vs PSU

Barney ball has had a rough year on Defense and stands near the bottom. Cats have shown they are really willing to work on the pass so I am going with a little lower than expected.

This one is tough. Robby might sneak on to the field and get a 15+ tackle game. With or without Robby I think PSU stands no chance to our run attack. Gimme the over

The only way we don't go over is if we unleash Chance and let him throw the ball more than his previous games. Unfortunately Vigen has too much sportsmanship for that so I'll say OVER.

15+ for Robby?! That's on the extreme under side. Didn't you know that if he's wearing coaching clothes each tackle counts 3x?! Anything less than 45 for him on Saturday would be a huge let down and disappointment.

I’ll take the under because I do think we continue to work on our passing game both with Tommy and Chance.

Or PSU is so bad that a pass play designed to go 10-15 yards goes for a 50+ yard TD and this happens multiple times. If we score too quickly on pass plays there are fewer opportunities to do so running the ball.

Under, road game’s usually don’t go quite as expected.
I expect a solid win and a good day on the ground, but I’m not expecting 400 yds rushing and to win by 35+ either.

I think PSU completely sells out to stop run like ISU did and Cats will need to pass more than expected. Big plays in run game may only come after wearing them down. PSU gave up 126 to 2 FBS opponents. 43 to Weber on road, 45 to Chattanooga on road, 27 UC Davis at home, 38 to Idaho on road. D is better in 1 home game vs maybe best FCS Team they played. Offense been averaging 25 opponents lowest total is 27.

UC Davis had 550 yards of offense. They have an anemic RZ offense. Their RBs still averaged 5.6 YPC. They turned the ball over on downs in PSU territory twice, had a 70 something yard drive to end the 1st half with no points. Fumbled the ball away and threw a pick in the 2nd half. I'll take the under because I think Tommy throws for 150 ish and we roll up 500 yards of offense.

receivers! Rushing hit the under at 323. Total yards 607!!! Over 400 in first half. Cats continue to beat teams down when they are supposed to.

Just playing very good football. Both sides are pretty much dominating both sides of the LOS. Regardless of what I have read on other sites, cough-cough, Coach Vigen has not run up the score on any hapless opponents. He has given 2s, 3s, + the ball early in games. We could have scored many more times. Kudos to the OCs, DCs, on down the line. CATS are ready to go 1-0 in two weeks.
