Does anyone know what the scoreboard will look like on the north side facing kagy...the old one was awesome highlighting our American Flag and standout players.
I hope they keep it more minimalist this time. Our logo, national titles, and conference titles would be more than enough. Somewhat close to what SDSU does: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/uYWS7wdbYNI/sddefault.jpg

I'm assuming the sightline of the back is pretty limited with the BAC. I imagine you'd have to be pretty far in the Brick parking lot or elevated to see the bottom of the scoreboard Image

Need a game clock facing the tailgates on the back of the scoreboard.

Let tailgaters know how much time before game and before end of half time.

Count down clock maybe but no game info. Get into the field.

I doubt that would help much, the late arrivals back from the tailgates are perfectly aware of how long halftime lasts. It's just not their priority to watch all 60 minutes of football.

That works too or at least may help (agreed that it will not likely change anything for the majority but just throwning out thoughts...)

Then don't spend any money on it. I get the visiting and all, bit couple hours before and hour after seems like 20 minutes is enough to grab a drink, pee, bitch about the OC and DC and get back in

I've never heard the cannon that signals the start of the second half from our tailgate. I try to keep an eye on the south scoreboard clock.

It’s a siren that signals there is five minutes to go before the start of the second half.

It wont matter. People dont care about being back inside the stadium for the second half kickoff.

There's a group with tickets near us that will routinely come into the stadium midway through the first quarter and then leave again at the earliest possible opportunity before halftime. Way more selfie taking while they're in the stadium than actually watching football, and drunk enough that I'm a little surprised they're able to actually find their seats every game. If the game is a blowout, they don't even bother coming back for the second half. If they do come back, it's usually not until around the end of the third quarter. I've thought about semi-sarcastically asking why they even bother spending a few thousand bucks on season tickets every year, but I suppose everyone can enjoy football weekends in their own way and MSU will take the money either way!

I think you may sit near me. I see those same type of people very single game and some of them are my own relatives. I think most of their game experience is just taking a selfie for their social media page and getting blasted before, during, and after the games.

 I thought that meant it as time for another beer.

I think there a lot more of these people than we think. I've got a group that sits right next to me that is similar. I'm pretty sure they have company tickets though. They show up mid-first half and almost never come back after halftime. That's better than the chatterboxes behind me that would be better off sitting in a temperature controlled coffee shop.

Amen. It's getting harder to make it out and back at halftime without missing minutes at the end of the first half and start of the second half. And I'm not willing to miss one minute of Bobcat football!
