Does anyone else have issues viewing the webcam?

I have tried numerous times over the last couple months, both on my computer and phone. All I ever get is a blank screen….

I believe some wet snow fell on the plexiglass cover and froze there. It appears to be in a position that makes it hazardous to try to clean off.

Go to this site to see the most current image. Unfortunately, the cam is rarely ever focused on the BAC. Eight times out of ten the camera is focused on the frigin Kagy intersection.

The Twitter weather cam page hasn't updated in a couple of weeks.

Can someone please post the dimensions for the new board? For some reason 100ft x 60ft sticks in my head but I might have dreamt that.
The outside dimensions are roughly 102ft wide by 40ft high. Keep in mind there is a portion of each end that is not video board but backlit advertising. I have not been able to find the actual size of the video portion of the scoreboard. The old scoreboard outside dimensions are roughly 36ft wide by 39ft high.
As a guide:
The ends of the scoreboard go approximately to the edge of the number markings (10, 20, 30, etc). Football field is 160’ wide. Numbers are 9 yards (27’x2=54’) in. 160-54=106 or 2’ in from the numbers on each side.
Here is a link to the Engineers Drawings:
https://www.montana.edu/pdc/documents_o ... 1.2023.pdf

Scroll down to sheet 9 for Dimensions.

103'-4" in length
Height varies. Scoreboard itself is 39', while the logo is another 9'6" and the lettering on both sides of the logo is 5'3". So, 48'6" at highest point. Entire thing is 27' above the ground at the base. Pretty much the same area as a basketball court, which is 94'x50'.

You know you’re a diehard fan when you find yourself watching a scoreboard being installed via webcam.

I'm pretty sure the new board will not have permanent backlit advertising, but will instead have digital advertising on the sides that can be changed out and be removed if needed. Similar to what our basketball scoreboard does. Permanent backlit advertising is not as flexible and changeable as fully digital

I thought I had read somewhere that we are also going to have electronic advertising panels down the side of the stadium like at wagriz stadium. Does anyone know if that is true?

Could potentially go between the upper levels of the westside pressbox and suite tower. Don't think that's a particularly good idea, but what do I know

Hopefully, they've locked in the webcam to the scoreboard construction. [-o<

He must’ve gotten tired of waiting for me. Looks like they’re about ready for the scoreboard to go on.

I am guessing the scoreboard will go on close to last. Lots more to do before the scoreboard goes on. Attached all the steel studs that will hold up the aluminum wall panels. The catwalks will basically be enclosed in a large box. The electricians will need to install all the conduits and wire.

If no one gets a pic off the weather cam I’ll be in Bozeman Thursday or Friday to get some.

That would be awesome. Once that webcam gets locked on that intersection, it takes a day or two before it re-sets to another image. The Cam used to take images of different areas throughout the day, but now it seems like it just locks on one area for a 24 hour period and that intersection is its favorite shot.
