Did he actually play? I saw he was pulled up from the PS but watched the first half and he never got in then got bored.

I don’t think he did, I think he just came off the sideline for the celebration as I didn’t see him on the field at any point. I only watched the 4th quarter though

I just don't know if we can play with a full-time nickel and not get abused by physical teams. Price/Dowler/Jackson played admirably but if you're saying we need an NFL type-guy at nickel, then that is why I've been harping all year that I'm not a big fan of the scheme we are running right now. Course it didn't help all the injuries there and at safety.

We aren't locked into using a Nickel every play. When the other team goes heavy, we sub to a heavier package. Etc etc.
But since fullbacks are rarely used nowadays in lieu of using a slot receiver, the 4 2 5 base makes sense. However you're right that it's not easy to find a dude like Okada who plays both the run and pass well.

I posted in another thread that I think we should be looking for a Konkol/Alleyne type Safety to transfer in and out Ortt at nickel.

An article I read said this was Ty's third elevation so he's out of elevations. What does that mean?
