Offseason Random Stuff - 2023

New offseason, new random stuff.
If anyone is bored and wants to get fired up at a clueless national FCS podcaster, Sam Herder had FCS Nation Radio's Stone Labanowitz on and he talked about Tommy/Sean. Clearly the guy was on the wrong end of a 2QB system and doesn't know anything about the Bobcats' situation.

The two-QB system that had SDSU on their heels the entire first drive and was legitimately our only chance of winning that game? You mean that two-QB system? Not saying we were going to win that game because our defense was going to have their hands full all day against Gronowski and crew but why should we move away from it if it works and arguably makes MSU one of the toughest offenses to stop in the FCS?

Yup, led the Big Sky in rushing and scoring. Ran all over top FCS rushing defenses in Montana and Weber. Let’s do away with it.

Ya, the guy was way off base when talking about how he’s sure the 2 QBs absolutely hate it. We have the right culture, and I do think they buy into whatever plan gives the team the best chance to win. I don’t think there’s any chance they are secretly hoping the other QB fails.

He clearly knows nothing about the team. He said that Sean is older so the JRs/SRs want him to play more and since Tommy is younger the Fr/So want him to play. Tommy has been on the team longer than Sean!

Feels like it’s relevant to bring up Sac State. It’s not like a two QB system has never been successful. Sac State underachieved consistently, but not because the QBs hated each other, unless there’s information I don’t know about.

Using that guy's logic, we must have several running backs full of hate, at least 3 tight ends that despise each other, and a very hateful defense. He must not have a clue that our quarterbacks were both starters at different times during the season and played full games as the starter due to injury of the other.

Story aside this looks like an Andrew Luck/Jeff Choate live child.

Hahaha that's uncanny! The neck beard and hairline of Luck and the eyes and smile of Choate.

I don't disagree, but I think there's gotta be some Kirk Cousins blood in there too.
