I feel like this is one of those guys we will look back on as an absolute steal.

Crazy how you can be a 2x Gatorade POTY and be so under-recruited. Nuts.

Is he definitely going to be RB? Or I wonder if he could grow into a role like ty okada on the defense side?

I think that it's fascinating that Mike Leach saw something in this kid. It's not just about "stars" but more importantly it's about "evaluation."

I think this kid has the heart of a lion and will turn out to be a terrific football player for the Bobcats. He is 5'10 and 180 pounds of muscle in high school. With development he will be a big time stud.

If he was the next Cody Kirk - with a similarly productive and healthy career - this Bobcat fan would be tickled pink.

No pressure ;)

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Thank you for the Cody Kirk reference. One of my favorites. Awesome north-south runner. Never failed to get 3-4 yards. Never forget him putting his helmet into UND's middle linebacker's chest on a seven yard scoring run. If Coon is half of what CK was he'll be an impact player indeed.

No worries. The Frenchtown Freight Train was always a personal favorite MSU running back.

Colson is going to be one hell of a hand, for the Cats.

Not up on the ag lingo, I see.

It's an idiom with roots in the old west. You know, cowhands, ranchhands, farmhands... Basically if someone is "a helluva hand", they're a good all around talent, or it could also mean they a specialist who excels in their area of expertise.

Wow? Who brings out the football team? When you're a "Hand," you can do just about anything. We had a "Hand" from Dillon, not long ago. Lol... are you sure you went to a AG school?
