I remember the chant in the student section in the late 90's but it wasn't the whole section. It was portions of us.

I was a late 80’s / early nineties student. I remember “poor grizzlies” being the main cheer. Didn’t really get to use it at football games, but it was a blast at the basketball games.

I was an undergrad student starting in 1967. I can still hear the “pooooooooooooooor grizzlies … poooooooooooooor grizzlies …” chant ringing in my head from Gatton Field and the Fieldhouse. Anytime they were down late in a game, they heard it, big time.

I still like that a lot better, but I'm old school.

Used to be two little league teams from that north country. Used to compete against the hiline schools.

And there used to be community dances at the hall in Goldstone.
