Cats vs. Idaho State Predictions

A good win Saturday night sends us into weeks 6 and 7 with a very good chance at being 6-1 heading into our showdown with Weber October 22nd. Idaho State isn't good as a team, but they can move the ball offensively. I expect this to be a big win because of our offense, but also expect we will give up some big plays and points again. I wouldn't be surprised to see us run for 350+ with big days once again from Elliott and Chambers.

Anyways, I think that even though ISU got spanked badly by UNCU they did give the gris a good outing, this is going to be closer than I was projecting a few weeks ago. (UNCU will get a few more surprise wins).

No I don’t think the griz are unbeatable, but their defense is legit, and I don’t see the Cats holding this team to less than what the griz did.

I think that score is a little misleading. ISU had 6 points (on 2 Field Goals) and about 230 total yards halfway through the 4th quarter. They hadn't done much, then for whatever reason they put together two good drives late to put up some points. ISU scored 14 points at UNCU and 16 against Central Arkansas. I don't think it takes a tremendous feat to allow less points than the gris did.
