Oh no. Many a battle with the giant from Kalispell. Played against him in all the sports for my whole life. A formidable opponent indeed. Rest easy, big man.

This is incredibly sad.
Very underrated player for the Cats. I didn't really know him but I have a lot of memories of him playing.
Cancer sucks. RIP Brandon.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

So sad. It all happened so fast. Good reminder for us to stay on top of our health and hopefully doctors can catch something before it's too late.

What happened? I probably just don't know how to use Twitter (I hate it), but all I see is a pic of him with someone saying RIP.kennethnoisewater wrote: ↑Mon Sep 12, 2022 11:37 amSo sad. Re: Brandon Hoffenbacker passes away
Just had a cousin that wasn't feeling well, had tests done, found out it was cancer on a Tuesday and went to hospice on Thursday. Died probably 2-3 weeks later. It CAN happen fast.kennethnoisewater wrote: ↑Mon Sep 12, 2022 4:50 pmCancer. Happened really fast.catatac wrote: ↑Mon Sep 12, 2022 4:45 pmWhat happened? Re: Brandon Hoffenbacker passes away
That just sucks. Thoughts to his friends and family.
One of my good friends and teammates growing up in Billings was a Montana Gatorade POY as an OL and Griz player.
I had heard he had cancer, and when I visited Billings from Portland in the late 1990s for a wedding he was there, we were sitting at the same table, he said hi and gave me a hug and it took me a minute to figure out who it was even though he was 6’5” because he was so frail.
An awful disease. He was 28 when he passed and he’d beaten it once before.
