All-Bobcat Fullback Vote

Post by luckyirishguy25 » Wed Jul 06, 2022 12:09 pm

So the Quarterbacks have been picked

Qb-1 Travis Lulay
Qb-2 Denarius Mcghee

Lots of nominations for FB, good job guys those names brought back some great memories! Write in your vote if they're not in the poll, the poll has limits. Also keep in mind a few of these names with probably show up under different positions too.

So Grant Elliot played some but his career was cut short due to injury. His older brother Ryan started at fullback nearly all four of his years as a Bobcat blocking for Ryan Johnson. Paywall here but this is a nice article on Ryan Elliot: https://billingsgazette.com/sports/born ... d51ac.html.

Also Cody Kirk technically never played the fullback position so can we all agree to move him to the RB list? Same with Delmar. I feel its unfair to the actual fullbacks on this list to include those two.

Anyway, I'm going recency bias on this one but Chad Newell #1/Trey Rob #2.

Cody will be on the RB list Vim. You can't not have him on that list.

I think he's saying he shouldn't even be on the FB list. Otherwise he'll take votes away from a deserving FB.

Yes, good idea. I voted for Cody based on production but never really saw him as a FB only an RB. I would say Trey #1 and Chad #2.

Okay, so Ryan Elliott blocked for Ryan Johnson. Johnson’s production makes Elliott near the top in my book. Obviously anyone (Newell, Robinson?) blocking for Cody Kirk was an A+. I’m still interested if anyone remembers who ran ahead of Kracher, Shafer and Kostrba. That I formation was one of those here we come, we dare you to stop it plays. Someone must have been doing a great job as a true fullback ahead of those excellent tailbacks.
