My daughter’s dog, Chip, is gunning for that slot position. He can catch popcorn and other food items. Once he learns to catch his frisbee he’s going to crack the rotation.

Re: My All Puppy Team
I'd have to go with Border Collie at QB. They are the most intelligent breed, very determined, and extremely athletic...agile and quick reflexes. They always dominate those dog agility competitions.gtapp wrote: ↑Fri Jun 10, 2022 11:58 amOffense:

Australian Cattle Dog/Heeler definitely needs to be in the secondary somewhere. Fast, smart, mean and nasty , but very loyal

Re: My All Puppy Team
If you want a player who'll run through the proverbial brick wall you can't go wrong with a mountain Airedale. I know of one who has taken down at least 3 badgers, (personally witnessed 2 of those) and numerous other lesser varmints. He's been an exemplary citizen off the field as well. When it's treat time he has the most cautious gentle and softest mouth imaginable and has put up with numerous children pulling on his tail and ears without so much as a growl.
I'm thinking edge rusher buck type player for him.

Re: My All Puppy Team
I'd add the Doberman as an additional WR and put in a Jack Russell at RB.

My 16 lb. all-world athlete black and white cat. At running back. He’d never get caught, especially if there was a veterinarian behind the opposite end zone. Just needed to add in a ‘Cat — he loves to watch football.

Sounds like a free safety or a slot cornerback.chadtothebone wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 11:33 pmAustralian Cattle Dog/Heeler definitely needs to be in the secondary somewhere. Fast, smart, mean and nasty , but very loyal

Yeah, you want that dog on your team. Great defenders. Mean streak. Little cheap. Jack Tatum-types.BLACKnBLUEnGOLD wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 11:10 amSounds like a free safety or a slot cornerback.chadtothebone wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 11:33 pmAustralian Cattle Dog/Heeler definitely needs to be in the secondary somewhere. Good herders too…pulling the team together and pushing them down the field. Have we found the team captain?BLACKnBLUEnGOLD wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 11:10 amSounds like a free safety or a slot cornerback.chadtothebone wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 11:33 pmAustralian Cattle Dog/Heeler definitely needs to be in the secondary somewhere. I was thinking about the Labrador and Golden Retrievers when you mentioned that. Love them both and great people dogs.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 15, 2022 1:59 pmGolden Retriever has to be on the team somewhere...gtapp wrote: ↑Fri Jun 10, 2022 11:58 amOffense:

First of all, my lab would go crazy standing on the sidelines as a punter watching that ball go back and forth up the field without being on the field to get it. Come hunting season you wouldn’t find him in the stadium because as soon as I headed out the door going after birds he would be gone. Beyond that, if he couldn’t chase the balls during the game he was the type of dog that would be over getting petted by the cheerleaders if you didn’t give him enough attention (smart dog!)!
My thoughts would be that yes we could keep the lab as a punter. But make the Golden Retriever, “Head of Media and Fan Relations”. And the Lab besides being punter could be a “student assistant” in charge of fan interactions on game day.
