Kassis Signs UDFA with Seattle!

Post by CelticCat » Fri May 13, 2022 10:39 am

This deserves it's own thread, so awesome! Talk about working hard and not giving up. Plus participating at a pro day with Troy Andersen didn't hurt...

If we had an actual passing offense during the Choate tenure (how about just an average one), Kassis would have broke every receiving record at MSU.

No doubt and one of the best teammates of all time too. He made so many great catches, just unreal.

Hell Yeah! I truly believe he has the "It" factor, speed, hands made of glue and speed.

Fun rolling through the Seahawk roster and finding #86 Kevin Kassis. He is one of two WR rookies listed; the position group overall is very young.

Always thought Kassis was one of those ‘dudes’ who just got it done.

Kassis reminds me of an Edelman or an Amendola...

I’ve said it before- but you stick that dude with a passing offense/solid qb for 4 years (McGhee for example) and he is putting up cooper kupp type career numbers.

How could I have left out Welker?

You guys forgot Steve Largent, Fred Belitnikoff, Hunter Renfrow, and many others in the white-only WR comps!

What a ride

I think the three aforementioned were all slot receivers with New England? That’s the position where I’m envisioning Kevin being an impactful (no pun planned) NFL player.

Come on now. He isn’t even close to the same caliber Kupp was and is. Kupp was always open because he was strong, smart, and knew where to be 100% of the time.

Kevin is a great ambassador for MSU and was excellent at catching the deep ball, but as far as route running and getting open to catch the easy 5-10 yard passes he was average at best.

Hope he kills it in Seattle, but he is a long shot

If your left, you aren’t right.
