Looks like Tre made it through the mini camp.

MSU will have five players (Andersen, Hardy, Mccutcheon, Kidd, Webb) from last year's squad in training camp this August. Six if you want to include Kassis.

Anyone know what the one year record is for former Bobcat participating in training camps? I’m guessing this is probably it.

Yeah, insane.

2 draft picks including one high draft pick and 4 UDFA signed contracts. UDFA is way bigger than a camp invite. Very solid chance that in the era of expanded practice squads that several of these UDFAs wind up at least on a practice squad this year.

Lance is BACK!

I think teams mess with guys like Lance in this way. They can avoid terms and clauses in the contract by releasing and re-signing.

Okay, I know a lot still has to happen and the stars have to align perfectly, but I find it a bit amazing that the possibility exists that the Cats had three NFL caliber receivers on its roster a few years ago and barely threw the ball to them. I know, the Cats needed a quarterback that could do that on a consistent basis but it’s still mind blowing to think about.

Yeh, that’s crazy.

Lance, kassis and Jonsen on the field at the same time, 3 nfl caliber receivers….. just in there as a “backup” for the running game. Ha!

Yeah, I mean whether they make the final rosters is really incidental to your point. Even guys on 90 man rosters are equivalent to very good FBS receivers. If you have three very good FBS receivers on your rosters and you are playing in FCS, you have to find a way to get them the ball.
