Good player. I wouldn’t be surprised if he lands at another BSC program. Maybe even UM,
MSU - 15 team National Champions (most recent 2021); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Bet he tries to go closer to home. Looked like they had plans for him seeing him at the Spring game but there’s so much competition at the slot.

Re: Charles Brown in the Portal
Well his cousin is actually a starter so you'd assume he'd want to stay. It's worth being said that Charles was given opportunities to earn playing time here and it seemed like it never clicked with him for whatever reason. Willie P, Coy Steel, and Andrew Patterson are tough to beat out in this current offense. Recruits like Taco Dowler are only going to add to that smaller receiver competition. I thought Charles played relatively well in the spring game for what it's worth...but so did about 5 other receivers (Alston, Willie, Andrew, Aiden, and Tayvion).

Cousin "was" a starter. Nate Stewart took that job when he got healthy. Smith wasn't available for the spring game so we don't know that he earned the job again this spring. The last time we saw much of him was against EWU when he was unable to come down with a ball in the end zone. Post game Vigen said, "He has to make that play or we will find someone who will"! Subsequently, Stewart made plays over the rest of the season. Time will tell.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 26, 2022 5:17 pmWell his cousin is actually a starter so you'd assume he'd want to stay. Doesn’t look like these first few guys are going to be hurting for offers.

Yeah, I'm not sure UIW is the best option.

They pass a lot but they had a ton of WR's on the team, sort of like the Griz always do. Went back and looked and the 2021 top 10 receivers were mostly Seniors and Grad Transfers so it may not be a bad place for him.

Also close to home for him, so his family can watch him play, and the program has been successful recently. The program has been getting some money invested in it too.Montanabob wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 10:34 amThey pass a lot but they had a ton of WR's on the team, sort of like the Griz always do. On the flip side, they lost their stud QB, Head Coach, and OC. I saw a report that they were going to start putting money towards their facilities, which are currently dog ******, but it'd be good to see them to continue to progress.AFCAT wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 10:45 amAlso close to home for him, so his family can watch him play, and the program has been successful recently. Charles has a lot of relationships in the Texas recruiting scene so I imagine he'll be fine.
