I don’t think the Rams had a scout at the pro day in Bozeman, which probably doesn’t matter, Rams have a different approach to the draft and it’s working!

You wonder if it'd be better not to be drafted if it's in the 7th round vs an UDFA. However. You couldn't ask for a better situation than to go to the defending super bowl Champs with a D like that! The development and teaching. Although maybe easier to make a roster of a bad team. But the Rams know what they're doing. A team like that expects to get playing time out of its late draft picks.

Re: Daniel Hardy
While I think it is a bit true that it is nice for them to be able to pick a team that they think fits best (from ones that may be interested), from a money standpoint I think this is a no-brainer that late draft is still considerably better. Though not sure what of those draftee contracts is considered guaranteed.lutecat wrote: ↑Sun May 01, 2022 5:37 amYou wonder if it'd be better not to be drafted if it's in the 7th round vs an UDFA. Re: Daniel Hardy
We are witnessing a new era of Bobcat Football in terms of loads and loads of talent year after year. Mark it down. In fact I’ll go as far as to predict we’ll get at least two players drafted next year as well, probably more.

Re: Daniel Hardy
Um...okay. I wouldn't go that far. Ifanse due to his lack of speed and injury history (and throw in the fact RBs are the most devalued position in the NFL draft now) isn't a draft worthy prospect. Callahan is a solid LB but certainly isnt a NFL player. Lets just stick with the theory that if you consider your program to be great, talent drop off doesn't really happen each year as other players develop and step right in.catatac wrote: ↑Sun May 01, 2022 12:29 pmWe are witnessing a new era of Bobcat Football in terms of loads and loads of talent year after year. Re: Daniel Hardy
It’s amazing how much this guy developed over the last couple years (due to his hard work). Went from being a depth guy on the team, to the nfl, wow!
Turned into one of my favorite all time bobcats this last year. Excited to see what he can do at the next level!
