Why does it read like an egriz post?coloradocat wrote: ↑Mon May 30, 2022 12:41 pmThis reads like an egriz post but Travis Jonsen was in fact arrested on a DUI charge. Regardless of whether or not he would have failed the breathalyzer it's not a great idea to be on the road at 3:18 a.m. I don't know if his status makes him eligible for any league/team car services but as a fringe practice squad player he shouldn't be taking any chances. Does not bode well for his NFL future.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Mon May 30, 2022 12:18 pmTroy Jonsen got a DUI early this morning. Seems doubtful he’ll make the roster or practice squad now.

I know it's an honest mistake but it looks like you just combined the names of two former Bobcats that made it to the NFL and said that person did something bad without any additional info. Just a little dig at you because I knew you'd see it. Just messing with you. Thanks for pointing it out though.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Mon May 30, 2022 12:51 pmWhy does it read like an egriz post?coloradocat wrote: ↑Mon May 30, 2022 12:41 pmThis reads like an egriz post but Travis Jonsen was in fact arrested on a DUI charge. Hopefully this doesn't ruin his (barely existent) NFL career but as you said, doubtful. He's just not important enough to the team for them to give him any leeway.
Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Oh my goodness I didn’t even notice until now that I said Troy instead of Travis. I’m clearly not functioning at full capacity! FYI, below is a portion of EWU's schedule;
* Sep 10th....@ Oregon Ducks
* Sep 17th....bye....(we're playing the Beavers @ 5 PM PT)
* Sep 24th....MSU
* Oct 1st......@ Florida Gators
* Oct 8th.....@ WSU
* Oct 15th.....Sac State
* Nov 12th....@ um (the week before the Brawl)
I think it's fair to say that they likely play the 4 toughest BSC opponents this year plus the Ducks & the Gators....brutal .
You can't say that they shy away from OOC competition....but part of that is when you have a minimal fan base you have to generate revenue somehow.

Yeah, scheduling the Ducks and Gators is definitely all about getting paid not the competition.The MICKSTER wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 4:52 pmFYI, below is a portion of EWU's schedule;

I think it was in 1987 or 88, after the Cats slashed their athletic budget, they scheduled those types of games, including the Gators.

Eastern Washington will receive payouts of $635,000 from Oregon and $750,000 from Florida for the two FBS games on its schedule this season, according to the EWU athletic department. The Florida game was suppose to be played in 2020, but all non-conference games were canceled by the SEC.AFCAT wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 5:35 pmYeah, scheduling the Ducks and Gators is definitely all about getting paid not the competition.The MICKSTER wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 4:52 pmFYI, below is a portion of EWU's schedule;

One of the Cats worst losses was against Florida in 1988. They lost 69-0.

Love the interview but he sure has aged in the last 4 years! NFL 3rd round pick next year.

#4 behind NDSU, SDSU, and UM. Fair ranking in my book. Craig listed Callahan, Ty, and Jeffrey as the key returners on defense but made a special note to list Brody Grebe and Simeon Woodard as rising stars. I appreciate that about Craig...he pays attention to roster development year to year.

The NFL has changed a bit on RB’s in the last bit. You have to be darn near elite to go on day 1 or 2.Montanabob wrote: ↑Fri Jun 03, 2022 9:13 pmLove the interview but he sure has aged in the last 4 years! NFL 3rd round pick next year.

Re: Offseason Random Stuff - 2022
I think the rankings look reasonable. NDSU will most likely be at home until Frisco, although I suppose there's a slight chance they could slip up in a game or two, and the SDSU game will not be a walk in the park for them. Also, how bad are they going to destroy Arizona? My guess would be... it will be an ass kicking.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 06, 2022 9:44 amhttps://athlonsports.com/college-footba ... op-25-2022

Strength of schedule based on opponents 2021 season. Cats and Gris in the 50s. Other notables - Cal Poly has the toughest schedule, Weber in the top 10, Eastern top 30, SDSU top 25.
