I’d say MSU is in the lead to land him…he went from excited about his Morgan State offer, to extremely glad about Grambling, to beatific (admittedly a new word to me) about MSU!
I imagine that word read aloud like Tom Hank's character in The Ladykillers, but he's from CA so probably not.

Don't post the offer on social media until you have figured out who it's from. If you research enough to get pictures, hashtags etc, get the name right. They are honest mistakes but seems like such a rush to post offers anymore.
I find the whole spectacle of these recruits' social media posts using near-identical wording and photos to be very odd and forced, especially in a case like this in which the kid had almost certainly never heard of MSU until the offer was made.

I also find it somewhat funny that the same message board whose members mistakenly referred to the University of Northern Colorado as "NCU" for so long that it has became a running joke apparently have much higher standards when it comes to high school kids researching MSU to get the name right!
Yup most California schooled kids think Montana is part of Canada or Iowa.

It's always been UNC to me, have always thought it was petty to kick a wounded dog any further by referring to the school as NCU. Same thing with people referring to CSUS as SAC or SSU...

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Back around 2008 a poster named GoBears showed up and disclosed that his pet peeve was people referring to Northern Colorado as NCU instead of the proper UNC. He was quickly "ratioed" and I brought forth the idea that to simplify the naming that UNCU fit. It amazes me to this day that UNCU has stuck. That, my fellow posters, is almost the extent of my legacy at Bobcat Nation.

I always wondered where that joke came from. Thank you for your service to Bobcat Nation.

I’d like to have Michael Patterson from a few pages back, class of 2023. Some serious speed (if accurate timings) and then my fervent hope would be to get names on the backs of the uniforms as we could field a whole lot of Pattersons! (Yes, I think Willie will be gone, but maybe Sprinkle can loan his.)

I think I'm going to try to incorporate more recruit-speak into everyday life.
