Crickets….
With coaching vacancies and a signing day right around the corner, Doesn’t it seem pretty quiet?

Re: Crickets….
I’m not worried about coaching vacancies until they get closer to Spring ball. Signing day isn’t a big deal since the Cats already signed the majority of their recruits. There may be only a couple more high school recruits coming and transfers have months to decide where they want to play.

With the extended season and three coaches gone who were also recruiters, I’m sure the coaching staff really had to hit the ground running. Probably won’t hear from them till signing day is my guess. So, I’m getting my Bobcat fix watching basketball.

Vigen is well connected. These things can take time. There is no hurry. I’m not worried at all.

Yep. Vigen is the guy who brought Freddie Banks here & got the kid a giant payday in Ft. Collins, which is about as sweet an FCS gig as I can imagine.
This is a super sweet job for an up and coming DC: Come to Bozeman-one of the best small metros in the US for 100k in your 20s to get a job at an up and coming FCS school in a couple of years when you leave? BTW, we are handing you the keys to an elite D with multiple All-Americans and a couple NFL prospect.
Oh, and your kids have off the charts public schools and in the off season you have world class skiing, hunting, fishing, outdoors, etc...And we are on the cusp of winning national championships.
Outside of NDSU, this is probably the easiest place to recruit a college coach in all of FCS, and one of the best gigs in college football.
And Vigen has a Rolodex (or whatever the youngs call it these days) as good as anyone in FCS football.
I'm guessing we don't hear much until Leon calls a press conference to announce the newest up and coming DC rock stars in FCS football.
