Here is the season ticket seating chart for NDSU. Up until the past year or so there has been a waiting list.

https://gobison.com/documents/2021/5/17 ... Prices.pdf

When we first did our package in 2007, we got 14 seats for around 8 grand. Includes 10 lower level 50 yard line seats and 4 mid-tier 40 yd line seats.

Same package this year is just north of 30K.

There is the COA and a big part of the new IPF, although the IPF was mostly paid for by large donations.

Not gonna lie, it's getting a little bit hard to write that check every year, but I've been sitting in my seat at games for 15 years. The folks around me are like family now so I guess we will just keep selling off a quarter of land every couple of years to pay for them.
Your number sounds really high. That is about $2,100 per seat. I am in the best seating at MSU and it costs me about $625 each. $750 if I include access to the Stadium Club.
I took a closer look at your NDSU seating chart and my Bobcat seats would cost $3,057 under the NDSU pricing. Wow. We are getting a heck of a deal.
Yes we are, but then again maybe that's the cost of doing business if we're going to try to catch them. They're paying fcoa and helping build facilities with their ticket fees. Might be time to look at ours again.
Check that statement. NDSU's new IPF was built with private funding, not from the seats....
According to their poster some ticket revenue went to the IPF. Just going by what he wrote.

Everything is sunshine and lollipops when the team is winning. It looks like a great idea for winning programs to go into debt to fund stuff. When the inevitable losing seasons happen and attendance goes south, then that will make those previous decisions very interesting to look back at.
So was the Sonny Holland Endzone a mistake because of the losing seasons of 2015, 2016, and 2017?
That end zone was funded with both donations and future fees. MSU didn’t go entirely into debt to fund the end zone seating. MSU is smart enough not to go heavily into debt on funding things based just on future earnings from fees or ticket sales. .

For example, the BAC is basically paid off where um is still in massive debt on their facility.

You are correct. When demand exceeds supply, the market price is too low. This won't be popular, but ticket prices need to increase some. On the bright side, the added income can be used to help fund the wish list of projects mentioned recently.
Agreed. It's pretty evident they're getting huge benefits from all that revenue, and the place is still usually full or close to it. I've been told to do FCOA we need to add a million to the scholarship fund, guessing if we're going to get there some of it will have to come from increased season ticket fees to the bobcat club.

There is also a tight labor market for which we need to find/fund just to ensure a game day.

That cost is not going down.

Tried to add two today and there are no tickets left in my section as of noon today. (110). There aren’t any more than about 30 left in the whole stadium if everyone renews.

So could the whole stadium be sold to season ticket holders or do they hold seats for single game tickets?

I was curious about that too. I know they hold some back for single game tickets, but does anyone know that number?

In the spirit of Frisco, I'll sell you one of season tickets for $1,000 per game.

Wait, you were going to sell me those for $450 a game! I am so disappointed.

I remember that comment too. And the poster gave their ticket prices which I believe we're around 3 times more than we pay.

I wasn't thrilled to see the increase but then I think back on the hit the entire athletic dept. took during the disaster of losing an entire football season during the pandemic, not to mention no attendance in basketball. I don't know who they came out of that frankly.

What was that process? I am looking to add one but made my request for an additional seat which the website and confirmation email said added seats would be reviewed after May 1st. I figured I better start now to try and get a seat for our unborn child.

I didnt realize there was a way to look what is available.

Perfect solution for the um champeenship center. Just cut more academics, profs, etc...

There are a few scattered season tickets available now. Just need to go in like your not renewing and check it out.
