Season Tickets
I'm ready to renew my tickets already! I'm curious if the run to the Natty will increase the number of season ticket holders? I would think the demand will be high...we've got another great team coming back and selling out all of last years regular season games tells me demand will be high!
Great time to be a Bobcat!!

I am pretty sure your curiosity will be proven true. I got a request last night to add two or three to my season ticket group.Catfanatic84 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 7:16 amI'm ready to renew my tickets already! Re: Season Tickets
I’m probably moving down from five to four. The first six months of the year Bobcat athletics always hits my wallet hard with football season tickets, QB club fees, basketball fees, etc. It’s worth it when they win though.

Season tickets go on sale Feb 1. Appears the pricing is about the same as last year.

They average out to $41 per game. That is not bad and it includes Cat-Griz which is always a premium. What was it last year?BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 7:51 pmThey're definitely more expensive.Catfanatic84 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 6:43 pmSeason tickets go on sale Feb 1. Re: Season Tickets
$30ish. I think mine in section 110 are about $100 more in total with seat price and Bobcat club dues. Seats were $175 last year and Bobcat Club was $200. So actually $105 more per ticket.Cataholic wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 8:40 pmThey average out to $41 per game. That is not bad and it includes Cat-Griz which is always a premium. I'd imagine single game tickets will be above $50 a seat on the sidelines for the 2022 season now.

Re: Season Tickets
We sit in 104. Looks like our tix went up 6 bucks a game. $104 per game, to sit in 104. Stadium club was 40 a game. I'm sure that will take a little up tic too.

Re: Season Tickets
Oof, yeah I’m in 102 so same as 110 and getting hit pretty hard. Unless I’m mistaken I believe the seat price is up a little over $30 a seat and the required donation per seat jumped by $80 per seat.BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 8:56 pm$30ish. Edit that maybe the donation had gone up to $175 last year, can’t remember for sure. So maybe not quite as big of a jump but definitely not little.

Re: Season Tickets
Based on the numbers above, ticket cost for some of you went up about $17 per game. For a premier program, I looked at the cost of NDSU tickets, and we are still a bargain.

Re: Season Tickets
Here is the season ticket seating chart for NDSU. Up until the past year or so there has been a waiting list.
https://gobison.com/documents/2021/5/17 ... Prices.pdf
When we first did our package in 2007, we got 14 seats for around 8 grand. Includes 10 lower level 50 yard line seats and 4 mid-tier 40 yd line seats.
Same package this year is just north of 30K.
There is the COA and a big part of the new IPF, although the IPF was mostly paid for by large donations.
Not gonna lie, it's getting a little bit hard to write that check every year, but I've been sitting in my seat at games for 15 years. The folks around me are like family now so I guess we will just keep selling off a quarter of land every couple of years to pay for them.

Re: Season Tickets
Your number sounds really high. That is about $2,100 per seat. I am in the best seating at MSU and it costs me about $625 each. $750 if I include access to the Stadium Club.GOB1SON wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 11:42 amHere is the season ticket seating chart for NDSU. Re: Season Tickets
I took a closer look at your NDSU seating chart and my Bobcat seats would cost $3,057 under the NDSU pricing. Wow. We are getting a heck of a deal.Cataholic wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 1:42 pmYour number sounds really high. That is about $2,100 per seat. Yes we are, but then again maybe that's the cost of doing business if we're going to try to catch them. They're paying fcoa and helping build facilities with their ticket fees. Might be time to look at ours again.Cataholic wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 2:02 pmI took a closer look at your NDSU seating chart and my Bobcat seats would cost $3,057 under the NDSU pricing. Wow. Re: Season Tickets
You are correct. When demand exceeds supply, the market price is too low. This won't be popular, but ticket prices need to increase some. On the bright side, the added income can be used to help fund the wish list of projects mentioned recently.GoldstoneCat wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 2:24 pmYes we are, but then again maybe that's the cost of doing business if we're going to try to catch them. Re: Season Tickets
Check that statement. NDSU's new IPF was built with private funding, not from the seats....GoldstoneCat wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 2:24 pmYes we are, but then again maybe that's the cost of doing business if we're going to try to catch them. Everything is sunshine and lollipops when the team is winning. It looks like a great idea for winning programs to go into debt to fund stuff. When the inevitable losing seasons happen and attendance goes south, then that will make those previous decisions very interesting to look back at.

So was the Sonny Holland Endzone a mistake because of the losing seasons of 2015, 2016, and 2017?AFCAT wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 2:44 pmEverything is sunshine and lollipops when the team is winning.
