No thank you or goodbyes for MSU.
He said Goodbye last December and thanked the program. Coach V let him stay and use the facilities throughout the playoffs and remained on the roster.
Yeah I'm good with it too. Vigen said he handled it all perfectly and left on really good terms.

Thank you! Good to know. Best of luck. He’s a really good kicker it seems.

For better or worse, this has now become a major part of the offseason in college football. Especially the fcs level. Thought I would keep a tracker going of every player that is joining or leaving the program.

New arrivals:
-Dru Polidore, DB from Air Force (former 3 star recruit, 4 years left to play)
-Sean Chambers, QB from Wyoming (former 3 star recruit, 2 years left to play)
-Ravi Alston, WR from Div 3 Saint Johns (1 year left to play)
-Omarrian Aigbedion, OL from Army (4 years left to play)
-Kaegun Williams, RB from SDSU (grad transfer, 1 year left, former 3 star recruit)
-Malik Mullins, WR from Independence CC (3 years left)
-Clevan Thomas, WR from Kentucky (1 year left, former 3 star)
-Rhedi Short, S from Arizona (1 year left)

Departures:
-Mathew McKay, QB signed with Elon
-Luke Pawlak, Kicker signed with U of Toledo
-Casey Bauman, QB signed with…
-Cole Snyder, OL signed with Delaware
-Charles Brown, WR signed with Texas State
-Jaden Smith, WR signed with Tarleton
-TJ Session, OL signed with Cal
-Demarius Hosey, RB signed with Texas A&M Commerce
-Jamahd Monroe, WR signed with...
Coaching staff still wants to bring in one more player at the following positions:

OT, DE, DT, LB

QB, RB, FB, WR, TE, Interior OL, Secondary are all basically set.

Looks like the only position you missed was punter kicker

Isn't OG a bigger need than OT?

This staff certainly is not afraid to recruit over people. Have to have a strong locker room and great culture to do that and not have problems.

Seems like a combination of wanting their own guys in the locker room and assuming that a high percentage will leave every year so they need to continually recruit guys for 1-2 years instead of relying on their ability to keep guys for 3-5 years.

How that impacts culture will be interesting. I think recruiting Montana hard is going to make the difference. Local guys are much less likely to transfer and will provide a foundation that the coaches can rely on as long as they nurture it. Winning the in-state recruiting battles will go a long way to winning on the field, which is often enough to sustain any culture.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Bauman ended up at Augustana University in South Dakota. Good luck to Mr. Bauman.

Former #MSUBobcatsFB QB Casey Bauman has transferred to Augustana University, a Division II program in South Dakota (not sure how long ago he signed there; I haven’t seen any announcements).
