I expected us to be wearing the unis we wore against EWU. Gold Helmets with Cat script, White tops and Gold Bottoms. Not a big fan of the gold bottoms as a whole (home or away, I bleed Blue and Gold but just a hard uniform color), but they work. Superstition told me there's no way they were going to wear white on white, we've only lost in those. I don't think they could have pulled off Gold Helmets with Blue pants, too much clash.

I’ve always been partial to the Cat head logo on the helmet vs the M. I like them both, just prefer the Cat.

Now I’d love for these helmets to be forever remembered in the 2021 title game.

It would take a hell of a lot more than three weeks to order and produce a full set of white 1984 throwback unis. Besides, this team is trying to create its own legacy and place in MSU's history so that 30 years from now MSU teams are wearing 2021 throwbacks.

Perhaps it was an omen? Finally got around to watching a recording of the game and noticed it’s a different version of the Cat head on the helmet. Looks like it has no eyes. Also, I noticed NDSU had FCS Championship stickers on their helmets and we did not. What’s up with that?
