Interesting that we got a guy from Georgia given the number of good programs with a closer proximity than MSU.
UM is the university equivalent of Axe Body Spray and essential oils.

Re: Bear Old, OL, Commits!
He came out to Montana for camps last summer. Not sure what the connection here is though. Maybe, he likes the Yellowstone TV show.
He also had an offer from Jacksonville State which is going FBS in 2023 and other FBS programs, so that’s cool that the Cats got him.
I thought the Cats had a good shot when Bear started liking and re-tweeting stuff from Bobcat football.

Connor Moore, 6-5, 260
Burke Mastel, 6-4, 290
Tommy Nilson, 6-3, 255

Just think about it, in a few years the Cats could have a Justus, a Bear, a Rush, and a Titan on the oline.

MSU - 15 team National Champions (most recent 2021); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

“ BOZEMAN — Bear Old will have little trouble adjusting to the cold.
Old is a senior offensive lineman for Rabun County High, located in the Northeast Georgia Mountains.”

That's funny that they compare northeast Georgia with Bozeman. But I guarantee he's gonna be the type of guy who walks around all winter in short sleeves. He might be miserable but I'd bet he'll be the guy who says he loves the coldest days.

30 degrees in humidity feels as cold as a calm zero degree day here if you ask me.kennethnoisewater wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 10:57 pmThat's funny that they compare northeast Georgia with Bozeman. I’ve always wanted to see a bear on skis.
Crazy he’s coming on a partial.

Re: Bear Old, OL, Commits!
How is the cost of a scholarship calculated for out of state players? For example, does a 75% (just a made percentage) scholarship for an out of state athlete "cost" MSU 75% the price of out of state tuition and does the athlete still need to pay 25% of the out of state tuition?

Pretty sure that's the way it works...only it doesn't "cost" MSU, its paid by the MSU football program (or athletics).rivercat wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 10:56 amHow is the cost of a scholarship calculated for out of state players? Old, in my opinion, is one of the Top 3 in this class along with Anaya and Taco. He is a 3x All Regional and 2x All State in Georgia, albeit in one of the smaller divisions. Their QB (Gunner Stockton) signed with Georgia. He carries the Attitude.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.
