Agreed, that's why I was colder in Frisco than I was a few days earlier in MT. I'm sure this kid gets it and welcomes the coldest weather, even if he never admits he's cold. There are so many people in places like Georgia who are dying to be in Montana, and hopefully some of them are good football players like this guy. I don't mean to disparage places like Fargo, but I don't think people in Georgia and Texas and California are dreaming of moving to Eastern North Dakota like they are western Montana. I hope he's one of many who come this way. Intrigued by the west and the mountains and the lifestyle, and they realize they can still play pretty darn good football.grizzh8r wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 12:58 pmYeah, humid cold is brutal. But I guarantee he's gonna be the type of guy who walks around all winter in short sleeves. He might be miserable but I'd bet he'll be the guy who says he loves the coldest days.

MSU is going to have a really good offensive line for at least the next three years.
MSU - 15 team National Champions (most recent 2021); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Doesn't say committed. We'll see if he signs.

Well it wouldn’t be the first offensive lineman we lost to the SEC…

Correct on both counts. We could offer him a full ride now to sweeten it.

I was a little surprised by all the hype people were giving him on BN. A partial scholarship out of state player usually doesn't get that much attention, so I suspect the uniqueness of his name played a little part of the excitement.

The fact that an SEC school is interested suggests that the hype might have been warranted. The Butcher wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 8:45 amI was a little surprised by all the hype people were giving him on BN. Yes, his name and the fact that he's 6'5", 280 and getting SEC offers it what excites me the most.

I’d bet that his 4 FBS (one SEC) and 5 FCS roster offers are based on his 6’5” 280 pounds of 3-sport, 3-year All-Region body of work and potential rather than his name. The Butcher wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 8:45 amI was a little surprised by all the hype people were giving him on BN. Still think the hype was unwarranted. I'll leave it at that.PortlandCat90 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 11:52 amI’d bet that his 4 FBS (one SEC) and 5 FCS roster offers are based on his 6’5” 280 pounds of 3-sport, 3-year All-Region body of work and potential rather than his name. The Butcher wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 8:45 amI was a little surprised by all the hype people were giving him on BN. It’s a two page thread? Almost a full page of which is talking about if there is too much hype. The Butcher wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 12:06 pmStill think the hype was unwarranted. I don’t think a 1+ page thread about a commit can be considered overhyped.

I thought out of state players were full ride or walk on. Isn't that why Eastern can offer all those partials to Washington kids but we can't?

Re: Bear Old, OL, Commits!
no....we can absolutely offer partial scholarships to out of state kids, and I know we've had a had a handful of those. Kevin Kassis being the most notable in my mind.
